A serving bowl modeled in clay, then cast in plaster with pattern decoration and animal ornamentation. The animal ornamentation consists of two modeled dragon heads on the short sides of the bowl, in addition to modeled decorative edges on the long sides.
The plaster on the bowl and most of the long sides is white, while the dragon heads, the decorative edge and the underside are painted in colours. The colors are mixed together and create a number of color shades, but the main colors are yellow, red and blue-purple. The upper part of the decorative edges is painted in a dark red colour, while the lower part is painted in the colors yellow and green.
History
A modeled bowl that was produced at the plaster factory Figur Kunst AS Hauketo in the 1960s. The factory produced wall pictures, decorative items, bowls and bowls made of plaster. The bowl was designed by someone who signed with the initials E.H.
